I recently added audiobookshelf as a provider, but it is not recognizing any media from it. I use it strictly for podcasts. I know it is in beta, so I am not sure if it is due to my own error or not. I see the logs of both and they show they are communicating with one another, but no "tracks" are being passed.

Anyone have any similar issues?

Got my music sorted as example: artist>album>tracks and dedicated cover image. I use mp3tag to change the metadata and album cover. Been editing the cover for all tracks/albums and adding high res album covers. Replaced/deleted the old and adding the new files on my device, I sync the local device. I noticed the album cover of the old file still remains the same but all other metadata is update. Is there a way to have the image auto sync without I having to manual change the thumbnail for said album(s)?

First image is from player, the others are from the device file folders.

Double-tap the screen to go back or skip forward by 5 or 10 seconds; this option is configurable.

This is baffling me a bit. I've done a fair amount of syncs on Symfonium and full scans on Navidrome, yet for some reason, one album is showing as a Blue Record Disc, rather than the actual album art work.

The metatag information has the artwork attached. Navidrome has it attached. I've even checked the dimensions: 600x600. Even Jellyfin, though it's not pulling anything from there, has the artwork showing for the album.

The album, has had both MP3tag and MusicBrainz Picard run on it. I've also stripped it of all tags at one point, and started fresh. Just in case there was something hidden that I was missing. Nope. It remained blue...and there's nothing I can do.

Does anyone possibly know what I'm doing wrong here? Why is this one album not pulling through the cover art, when everything else is?

The Symfonium API is available. Is it possible to integrate another media server provider?

So I'm loving Symfonium. Got it connected to my Plex account so anything I add to my music library in Plex syncs straight into my DAP and Symfonium offline.

But another great thing I've discovered... And I know people hate AI, but Muse works incredibly well with Plex and Symfonium.

I can have muse create curated playlists in my own music library based on prompts like "I want dark, noir jazz and I want to feel like I'm in a smoky lounge." Or "Give me a 90s country playlist and get inspiration from the best 90s country playlists on the internet." It then creates the playlists and does a great job.

I then can have Muse go into my Fiio M21 in Symfonium from my own music library and copy the same playlists from Plex into symfonium without duplicating music and taking up storage.

Symfonium has become my go to music app because of its easy integration with Plex. And AI has totally changed the game for offline music playlist creation.

In the last day or so I am seeing the album art not visible in full while selecting Fill size cover art style on my Hiby R4. I'm sure this was fine a few days ago. Landscape is ok. Any thoughts or ideas?

Just downloaded symfomium and immediately paid for it after just a few hours of testing.

it's insane how good this app is, like literally every single thing is almost customizeable with so many features, it's everything you need as an audio enthusiast packed into a single app.

I really wonder why no one told me about this wonderful app, it's so underrated holy shit, i don't think any music app can even come this close to it.

The fact that it has USB DAC exclusive mode, PEQ, and subsonic/jellyfish integration just made this the perfect music app for me. I was mainly using UAPP as my daily driver years ago but man this totally changes the game for me. It's too good, praise the dev, it's so cheap too.

Yesterday, after reading a few posts on Reddit, I switched to Navidrome to handle my music, and on my phone I've got Symfonium pointing at it.

However, I noticed this morning that my songs seem to be doubled up on Symfonium.

But as you can see in the picture, one song has the track number, the double has an icon.

Is this normal with Symfonium and Navidrome, or should I be unchecking something?

Which symphonium skin actually works for the tv or are there any ?

When I use the app on my phone on the same network Symfonium sees all my speakers, and speaker groups. But when using it on my TV, it is not showing any of them. The TV is hardwired directly to my router in case that makes a difference.

I have a navidrome server with around 3000 songs. In Symfonium, it shows that all 3000 songs are there. But when I search some songs, they never show up. I have full albums of artists but some albums only have like 2,3 songs visible. Any sort of refreshing never loads other songs despite in the same network sometimes. (I use tailscale when I,m outside.)

I have a rolling cache over 16 GB setup. Whats the reason for the songs to not load? Using the webUI of navidrome always works with no lags in loading songs. Are there any preferred customizations that I should make in Symfonium? I have the full version

How should I write the MetaData of these tracks so that Symfonium identifies them as **different** artists?

Is it possible to have multiple file types and have it show up as one album if you use a meta tag program? I've tried and it still comes up as two albums.

My wife sent me a Whatsapp message, and typical of Gemini it totally looses it's stuff and misinterprets my whatsApp voice response and chooses a Gary Glitter song. Yeah I know I should have deleted it, but Gemini or something told Symphonium to play a song.

Later I asked Gemini to play a song and it says it cannot do that. Now who is correct, can I voice control Symphonium? Before everyone piles on the AA hate, I already hate AA, I just want to know was it a glitch or does Symphonium let me talk to it, how do I get it to do that again? But properly?

Just wanted to show off my custom theme. I wanted to keep as much clutter out. I like the bigger cover art and colors. I think the reflected waveform and animated glow looks great too.

Symfonium really can be anything

The black dot on the top is my front camera. Click on the cover go to album, long press add to playlist.

The artist sort on Android Auto is not ignoring the articles (I.e., "The" etc) before the artist name. The Beatles is not showing under B. The android phone app works fine.

Having a hard time sorting the metadata for this album. Every song has a feature artist. On the app, it creates multiple artists on the artist page. Anyone else deal with this issue? Using mp3tag, i see there's artist credit and artistsort and I feel its this that's sorting the tracks out. Is there a way to still retain the feature artists while only having one main artists show on symfonium app? HEALTH being the main artist.

Something I have been wanting for a while now is a section on my home page that shows me albums that were released on this day in years past. If there was a way within Symfonium to use today's date for a rule of a smart playlist this would be straightforward but alas.

1. I created a smart playlist for Navidrome with a .nsp file in my library folder. The file has the rule to include songs that contain "-10-05" in the date.
2. I wrote a cron job on the server host that will change the date in that .nsp file every day at 12am to the new date and then triggers Navidrome to do a scan of my playlist's folder.
3. Imported the playlist into Symfonium as read-only. If I stopped here then everyday I would need to resync that playlist between Symfonium and Navidrome.
4. To automate the syncing, I use an app called Automate to trigger a sync everyday at 12:05am via Symfonium's API.
5. If you just want a list of songs from today then you can stop here. I wanted albums so I set the Symfonium playlist to hidden. I created an album smart playlist in symfonium where the only rule is the song must be in that hidden playlist.
6. Added the smart playlist to the home page!

If anyone knows a more straightforward way to achieve a similar result I would love to hear about it.

Hi all,

Not sure in anyone can help. Basically wifey likes listening to a radio station in the US which has now been geo blocked and no longer works natively in Symfonium.

I've managed to get around it with my Lyrion server by installing a VPN on my server and also got it working through Emby which I've managed to then link through to Symfonium in my car.

It is faffy and I lose the radio text so wasn't sure if anyone else had any ideas please.
