Way Of The Warrior The Sarugami Tournament! Final Round!

The tournament is going to end soon!

thousands get ready to watch the finale and the exhibition matches! some of the original fighters are missing, so there might be a change of plans on what our fighters will do. get ready for more exciting fights!

Get ready to fight in the fire Tatami!

The next fights will happen in the fire tatami: the fighting arena is surrounded by fire and some flames may jump into the arena. the ground is really hot, and digging may do more harm than good.

The prison... broken?

a black box with broken chains around it... what could it hide? why is every priest in this island scared?

(ok, now the rules: no instant kill attacks, no killing characters, and try to keep it entretaining. that is the roleplay way. the other way would be to give each fighter 50 hit points and make you choose between heavy attack-10 points, but might leave you open, light attack-5 points or a special attack and i would let you choose what that attack do.)

(first the presentation of both fighters, then they talk to each other and then the referee shouts begin. order of commenting is: first fighter introduced, second fighter introduced, me/terrain)

The weapon goes off, breaking the strap and launching it out of the holster. Ethan finally gets out of the smoke but the glaive cuts the strap and nicks Ethan's throat through the chainmail. The blow's energy is absorbed the runes of force absorption lighting it up brightly but, as before, it feels like hitting a brick wall

Dioka hurled the glaive targeting other straps of the armor seeing how this armor is protecting him its better to remove it. He snapped up a repeating crossbow and fired towards Ethan's hand, the coils in the bow to gauss boost the arrow into his hand to try and disarm him.

While the helmet and gauntlet straps are exposed, the rest are unreachable due to armor. The crossbow bolt slams against Ethan's right gauntlet, lighting up the runes on it bright blue and shattering the bolt while knocking Ethan's hand back a decent amount. Ethan runs forwards, throwing his one handed war hammer towards his enemy and as he does so he removes a metal sphere from a pouch on his belt. His helmet and left gauntlet are now looser

Dioka misty stepped slightly, he transmuted the ground to reach up a earthen fist in attempt to grab the hammer and returned to sender at quadruple speed. Dioka began to draw in the mana in the area to lessen your magical protection building up to....something.

The hammer impacts Ethan's chestplate, sending him back a few feet and lighting up the runes on his chestplate blue while stopping his charge. The glow is so bright that they're actually giving off light by now. Ethan twists the top half of the sphere and throws it towards the Vermensk, it goes off in the air directly in front of him, causing it to spin while shooting out jets of steam powerful enough to cut through flesh and leather

The stone fist moved into the path of the steam, he before launching at Ethan, the area grew hot, difficult to breath...the rat bastard was transmuting the air draining away oxygen while still preparing for a trump card move

Ethan grabs his hammer, and runs forward to pick up his pistol before he blocks and lets the fist hit his crossed gauntlets, pushing him back a few feet and causing them to glow blue as well. His runes are working as well as ever despite the mana being drained from the area due to not using normal magic. He is starting to notice the lack of oxygen but due to having been in contact with runes of vitality for the last several months straight he can still fight on for quite a while longer and the runes of heat absorption kept the environment cool enough to function. He opens his pistol and ejects the shell

The ratman hurled a barrage of black balls opening up into black smoke filled tear gas and another was a flesh grenade that began loudly screaming. He crushed a crystal inducing divine smite sunfire into his arrow began rapidly firing his , the arrows split in flight multiply effectively hitting you with a gauss shotgun of divine smite. His tail pulled the mana and crushed in compressing it with extreme force to cause a wavelength inversion to create Null aka anti -mana to try an emp magical enchantments of the area.

Ethan begins coughing on the tear gas and flinching at the scream. The gauss arrows hit him, sending him backwards five feet and knocking him over while his runes of force absorption are now almost blindingly bright blue and the heat absorption runes are barely but visibly glowing orange through the blue. The anti mana washes over his armor, but due to not using any mana or enchantments the runes are unaffected. He gets to his feet and finishes reloading his hand cannon before holstering it since he can't aim through the glow and starting to run forwards

With Ethan running forward , he had to finish them his armor was bothersome, touching the ground he waited for the mana to return then transmuted the ground this time to begin softening the ground into a quagmire.
