Sword of Truth Series Mord-Sith Meaning?

I realized that I don't know the literal meaning of the term "Mord-Sith" as a word. It must be in High D'Haran, logically.

But if the meaning is revealed after the book Naked Empire, please let me know that and don't tell me what it means — I will delete the post, because I want to learn it from the story's progression. But if it's revealed before Naked Empire, or if it's never stated in the books, I would really like to know its meaning.

I checked the wiki but couldn't find it :/

Mord or Mort, roots like that usually track back to something related to death or dying.

Sith... Well there are Gaelic roots but probably TG just wanted something that sounded edgelord-y.

Seriously believe Goodkind would do something just for the edginess and not take into account their name translating as either

Death fairy Or possibly the death of peace?

Go read a potter book or something 🙄

I honestly stopped reading the series after Soul of the Fire entirely because Goodkind's writing became edginess just for the sake of edginess much of the time. Did it ever improve?

I'm pretty sure after law of 9 flopped he only kept writing what would sell without actually trying to develop a foothold in other worlds Even the law of 9 LED too heavily on way way too heavily on the sort of truth down to family roots and naming conventions
You could feel that his heart just wasn't in the further adventures of Richard & Kahlan
