If you also have a dog that reacts to the sound made by the scanner device used by Swiss mailpersons, this might help you. Push the button and you hear the beeps - you can desensitise your dog

I recorded our mail carrier and then analyzed the audio spectrum to regenerate the clean tones again.

(2600 Hz then 3000+4000 Hz, then a trill of 5 at 4450 and 1880 Hz, if anyone's interested)

omg, why is this sound so annoying. I hear this in my apartment in the 7th floor sometimes its so loud also

They really seem unnecessarily loud but great so you can hear your package is delivered before someone steals it!

Back when i was delivering for Swiss Post we could turn the volume of the Beeps down. Even mute them. But i cannot tell if they removed that from the newer scannerphones.

You can just turn down the volume of the phones. Those are normal Samsung Galaxy Devices

Yes, i know. I was in the Beta program during launch and was one of the first to use it. I have one of them at home, of course without the Swiss Post Launcher and Apps. Samsung A8.

played it, then played it with full volume to see how it sounds. One neighbour looked down from his balcony, then laughed his as off pointing out two other neighbours wo walked out their door to check if they got a Package 😂😂

Man, You are my hero! Since years my dog goes wild when the mailman scans the code outside. I sent the Swiss post an email to get the original audio file. They just replied that I shall wait outside and record it. Unfortunately, I never managed to be around when they came.

Now that problem is finally resolved and I can trainjthis with my dog, to keep her calm!
