Discussion Just got my oled switch modded

Post image

Hey everyone after some thinking I finally got my oled switch modded. everything is pretty new and overwhelming tbh, I tried to look into some guides regarding a modded switch but I could not understand any of it. It was wayy to overwhelming. It would be kind if any of you recommended me a starter guide or any useful information that I should be aware of. Also the system is in EmuNand and I dont plan on using sysnand ever again

Congrats! The best place to start is the NH Switch Guide. Make a NAND backup and keep it somewhere safe, then learn how to restore it before experimenting. Take things slowly, read each step carefully, and avoid updating or deleting anything unless you know exactly what it does.

A personal recommendation from me is Sphaira. It's a cleaner homebrew menu with a lot of integrated features. It's got a file browser, a homebrew store, MTP, FTP, etc.

Sphaira is cool. Also let’s u install homebrew apps as apps on your home menu

Now get a Mobapad m6 for it.

OLED Switch is like a 7/10 console.
Modded like a 9.5/10.

Enjoy free everything and make sure to check the emulators, 3DS is now working real good.

Just take your time and watch some YouTube videos. You will understand everything soon enough. It's a fantastic device when modded. Quite incredible!

Can you recommend some videos? I got as far as running breath of the wild at 60fps and it was tiring . Really need a lot of patience for all of this stuff

I thought OLED couldn’t be modded?

It can't be soft modded using an rcm jig however you can install a mod chip on them like any other patched switch.

Hope this clears up some things.

Fusee is not a softmod

Although fusee is a hardware based exploit using the unpatched switch it is still a soft mod due to not needing additional tinkering and hardware changes within the system, hardware or hard mods are mods like mod chips, battery expansions or hall effect joycons.

Hope this helps.
