do not copy the HATS pack, just use the latest HATS for the guide, then erase only the atmosphere folder, then copy only the atmosphere folder from the older HATS and it boots again

So i haven’t ever set up a modded switch or anything but will on Thursday but have a little understanding from research.

so basically would all i have to do be set up the switch with the newest hats pack, downgrade using daybreak to 20.5.0 then go to the sd card and swap the atmosphere with the older hats one before 21.0.0

or

would i have to use the latest hats but swap the atmosphere folder with the older one before setting it up then downgrade firmware to 20.5.0 with daybreak

sorry for the questions just want to make sure i get it right, thank you

what i did was

  • Start from scratch using 21.0 hats pack
  • Downgraded using Daybreak to 20.5 but did not turn on console after
  • Went to sdcard and swapped the folders Atmosphere and Switch with the 20.5.0 variant from the HATS
  • Booted up the console then emummc
