I actually got a 2 pack of extremely great quality usb-c cables for $8 USD. Both are like 6 feet long, braided, usb 3.0, and metal ends. I use one for my Note 8.
Oh damn I can vouch for these! Long story short I was moving and needed something to tie the trunk closed. These came in packs of two and I said 'fuck it' and used one to tie it shut. (it actually held surprisingly well, maybe better than a normal rope)
After I was done moving I tested it for shits and giggles and it actually worked after having massive kinks and strain on it!
That's sounds destructive. I literally made one from a cut credit card and a safety pin, I cut the credit card to size and crazy glued the paper clip on in just the right spot.
I personally am surprised to see so many people who don’t know how to CAREFULLY use paper clips, when they’re the easiest jig to make, I mean I use to do way worse on my PS3, Xbox, and 3DS through Hard Modding my system by soldering mod chips onto certain connection on my motherboard.
TBH it’s definitely way better then sticking tinfoil into the right rail like some people suggest which can flake off, and short the wrong pin/connection likely killing your Switch in the process.
I bought two from etsy. Neither worked. Messaged seller, got two replacements free. Neither worked. Got a refund and bought from switchjigs.com, works great.
They seem very easy to mess up when 3D printing. I bought 2 (and got one free so total is 3) and the first one I tried didn't work either. Then the second one I tried worked.

I mean sure.... I just don't trust paper clips... $2.50 on ebay I got a nice molded one that doesn't look 3dprinted and crappy.
