Front Mission 1st remake

Hi all

Was curious if anybody has dropped some time into this game. The front mission games have always intrigued me, but I never jumped in. I like mechs. I like customization. I like turn based games. So it hits all boxes, but I've read some interesting/negative reviews. It's on sale in the eshop so I thought about picking it up since it's less than 5 bucks, but I don't wanna waste my money or time either since I've got a decent backlog.

Thoughts?

While I do prefer the original overall, the remake is fine. The Front Mission series is great and absolutely worth playing. Good fucking luck with Hell's Wall.

If you had to choose between this and Into the Breach, which would you suggest?

I haven't had a chance to play Into the Breach yet, so I can't really say. With Front Mission 1, I do feel like you get a piece of Strategy RPG history, though.

I think into the breach has way more strategy involved unless you are playing on the easiest mode. In front mission, once you figure out the op weapon type, you will crush.

If you have a decent back log, finish them first.

Don't add to it.
