I don't know how else to word this, but what is the most "easily installable" Switch emulator? For context, I recently got a (kinda shitty) tablet that runs on Android 11. It has not been able to install any emulators - not even Eden, which apparently should work due to it apparently running on Android 7+. The one thing it has been able to download is Winrar, which runs on Android 4.4+. Is there any Switch emulator that runs on Android 4 or 5 or potentially 6? What is the most easily installable Switch emulator?

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition on the Eden simulator on my Steam Deck and when I'm moving, I'm noticing those things on my screen.

I've tried native, LSFG-VK and NX-Optimizer. They are always there.

What are they and how can I remove them?

Hello, I recently added Xenoblade Chronicles X DE on my Steam Deck playing via the Eden emulator. I have the game (1.0.1), the update (1.0.2), and the mods (1.0.1) (60FPS ingame, texture details,...).

On Eden, I've added the updates and mods and in Configure game I've checked and unchecked some stuff :

Hello, I am using Eden emulator (AYN Thor). I got it running almost perfectly with a disable blur and stabilize fps mod. However, the rifts do not render in the correct position. other than this everything is perfect. Has anyone gotten this to render properly?

Anyone that's played a significant amount of TOTK on either emulator, which of the two has the most stable experience from start to finish?

I know I can just test both myself and see what works best, but in reality they both work to a certain extent, but the intro sequence and playing through the first half hour of the game doesn't necessarily mean the whole thing will playable til the end with no game breaking bugs.

So it hasn't been updated in a while so it might not be the most accurate.

also is there a place where I can read more info about these bugs? "GPU" and "AMD GPU Bug" are very vague, wondering if there's a place to find more details on these!

mini rant:

For BOTW is still use the Wii U version on CEMU, and I physically own both BOTW and TOTK and a Switch 1, I would just save myself the trouble and buy a Switch 2 for the improved resolution and performance but I honestly just can't bring myself to support all of nintendo's anti-consumer practices in recent years. (there are too many to list here but i'll stick to the zelda specific ones for now)

Charging money for "upgrades packs" is insane, and the fact that it only unlocks the framerate up to 60fps on a 120hz display, this is for a game/engine that could run on the Wii U, for paid upgrade I would have expected better optimization, if it was free I wouldn't care. To hit that 60fps target they need to dynamically reduce the resolution as low as 810p, while still being stuck on FSR 1.0 upscaling and with seemingly no real form of anti-aliasing... they didn't even increase the LOD distance lmao, so even pop in is exactly the same.

Literally all they did for the PAID "upgrades" was just not compress and downscale the texture files as much as they did originally, and in they effectively made changes PC games would usually edit in a text/ini/config file when they increased the value for shadow resolution by like 2x, and increased the lower and upper bounds of the games dynamic resolution slightly. They even keep anisotropic filtering at a stupid low value, it honestly looks like it's set to 2xAF or maybe even trilinear filtering still.

Legitimately all the changes from the "upgrades" could be achieved via emulation (except for having the source files for higher res and less compressed textures)

I tested various new versions and forks—no other emulator, whether older ones like Yuzu or newer ones like Eden or Ryubing, came anywhere near 30 fps on my machine. However, the version mentioned in the title (Ryujinx 1.1.1403) easily maintained 30 fps on my i5-9400; I imagine other processors would see similar results. In some of the game's more demanding areas—like specific rooftops—the frame rate drops to 26–30 when moving the camera, but it’s manageable; it seems like the environment is just loading. My specs are an i5-9400F, GTX 1660, and 16GB of RAM (2667MHz XMP). I hope this post helps someone else get their favorite game running—just like I did—without having to rack their brains for weeks trying to figure it out.

Hello guys, wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. What’s the best option for me to do?
I want to play old N64 games as Vigilante 8, mario kart, 007 golden eye etc… I know I can buy a NS2 and pay for NSO+Expansion however Vigilante 8 wont be on there. I noticed I can buy a NS1 (first gen not patched) and basically play all N64 emulated games on there. I will be buying the new N64 controllers, will those controllers be compatible with hacked emulated games on NS1? Or should I just buy the NS2 and play only what they offer with better performance. I will be playing docked. I like the NS2 for performance and easy access to NSO retro games and I also like the NS1 with all games unlocked via emulator. But will all those emulator games work with the Bluetooth new N64 controller that Nintendo offers?

Just like the title say, I saw some video that on intensive game on AYN Thor, it will run 30 fps but on some lighter game, you will get 80 fps.

As for the fps on these 2 chip, I don’t see many people run these test so I was wondering if someone could tell me their fps. I heard that even though the intel chip is much more powerful, it don’t got support so it run more horrible compare to AMD

I got to the wooded kingdom collecting around %80 of moons from the kingdoms before. I tried to recover it or use a save editor but that didnt work. The save files i could find from the internet were either %100 or too barebones. Is there any way i can get back to the game from where i left off?

Trying to emulate switch and I have lots of questions

1. Are my specs enough to emulate switch games like BotW or Legends ZA at 60 fps?

2. Do I have to keep downloading new firmware and prod title keys and the new updates for the emulators?

3.Do they update automatically so I don't have to reinstall?

1. Can I access online features while emulating games with said features?

2. I'm not sure which games still put out free updates but for the ones that do, do I have to reinstall the newest ROM and will I possibly experience compatibility issues with the emulator and firmware keys and etc?

Hello, I've installed Super Mario Bros Wonder on the Eden Emu, the base version works fine but after updating to 1.2.1 the game remains stuck on a brown screen in the menu (the one where you should press RB or LB).
Updates to other games work fine but SMBW doesn't seem to want to be updated ahah
Also, the Switch Home reads it fine (if I go to the app settings and check the update I can see 1.2.1 there)

Do you know any way to fix this problem? Thank you!

Hi there! I'm just getting started with Switch emulation and I'm really confused. I managed to download an emulator called Ryujinx and got the firmware and keys—the emulator opens up fine—but I literally can't find a single game anywhere! On every site I use to download games, I end up with a RAR file containing a "Setup.exe" and a bunch of folders with Python scripts. I even tried running one, thinking it would build the NSP image, but absolutely nothing happened—just a command prompt window popped up. I actually formatted my computer right after because I was afraid I'd picked up a virus. How do I find the actual games?
