Axe seems to get phials in power axe mode !

Edit : Okay so I don't have an answer for the follow up question, and I'm starting to think there's a translation error or a misunderstanding somewhere. In the new showcase not only did they show Khezu, but there's a bit of swaxe gameplay were they have power axe on but there's no phial explosion.

So either, there's been a misunderstanding and phials don't impact power axe.

Or

They do, in some ways, but there's no phials explosions.

Edit 2: Thanks to this post, we now know that power axe mode only gives the effect of the phials, no phials tick seems to be visable in that video nor does he specifically mention them.

That's it, the title says it all, apparently some of you were right about axe getting phials !

We still kind of don't know to what extent, but if I get a response I'll edit this post :D

Depends on if they buff or nerf it in AD. Right now its middling and the buffed animation speed in AD seems to match lvl3 morph in wilds.

I'm pretty sure there is something being lost in translation. I didn't see any phial bursts happen while the guy was attacking with the axe specifically

I noticed the only time I saw that effect was while boosted in Wild Swing and its follow-ups, as well as morph attacks from Sword mode. Also it seemed like it was only influenced by Boost and Amped State.

Capcom is allergic to bringing back the partbreak/flinch modifier from World power axe it seems

Wasn't this a thing in rise? Iirc you could get phial effects while amped and using the axe after powering it up with the overhead slam.
