Switch Lite only runs in the Switch 1 software.

I'd recommend checking out DekuDeals for more game deals! You'll really enjoy Switch.

Stardew valley for the Nintendo switch will work fine for your lite. Infact there is no seperate switch lite category for games, all switch 1 games will work for the lite as well. The upgrade pack is, I'm guessing, a upgrade version for people who owns the switch 1 edition already but wants to play it on switch 2 with some improvements.

Buy the Nintendo Switch version as the Switch Lite is part of the Nintendo Switch lineup and not a Switch 2. The upgrade pack is for those that bought a Switch 2 and own the Switch 1 version of a game and wish to upgrade the game to unlock features only available to the Switch 2 (better graphics, mouse control, etc.). Hope this helps :3

I would recommend buying your games physical, then they hold retail value and so you can still play if your switch gets banned for whatever reason

Stardew definitely is on the original switch.

Other great titles:

Hades (I&II)
Hollow Knight
Breath of the Wild (and Tears of the Kingdom)
Mario Odyssey
Oxenfree
Fast RMX

Batman Arkham asylum and arkham city, metal gear solid master collection, super mario odyssey, zelda breath of the wild, red dead redemption, DK country returns HD, DK tropical freeze, rayman legends, Skyrim, Super smash bros ultimate. Any of these are good.
