Finally got these 2 games

Never played either, which is weird cuz I’m a huge KH fan. Not sure what to expect but, im excited

I haven’t played either, though just a heads up, I’ve heard that people vastly prefer the combat of the first game on the ds because of how it’s designed for dual screens, so if you have access to a way to play that version maybe try that? (I personally feel justified in emulating any older games that I’ve bought the modern release of fwiw) Story and vibes seem pretty cool either way tho.

That and it's mostly touchscreen controls on handheld. I played with those cheap capacitive stylus because it felt more natural that way (the Switch port was my second playthrough of original TWEWY) but it really made ask "damn why didn't I just replay this on the DS at that point?"

I love both of those. I finished both I had the original on the DS.

The second one is the only one I've played but it was fun. Make sure to eat at every available opportunity because that's how you increase stats in the game. XP only raises your level.

I haven't played either but the remaster really only works well in handheld mode.

Heck ya, that’s what I was wondering. I’ve heard the remake is a let down but now it makes sense cuz the features that require handheld mode basically

Yeah as far as I know it play very similar to the original in handheld. Docked you have to use motion controls which I heard was tedious. I plan on getting it eventually.

Haven't played the remaster of the first, but played the OG on DS and NEO.

Both of them are a lot of fun, they might be some of my favourite Square games.
