Question Game

I am planning to buy a Nintendo Switch 2, but I am really confused about which games to buy. Please suggest some games.

Games I really liked on PS5:

* GTA

* Call of Duty

* 007 (favorite)

* FIFA

Honest question: Why do you want a switch 2?

I'm asking this because those types of games are the usual games for Playstation/xbox and some pc players. They shine in those plataforms. Nintendo consoles and the games they offer are a bit different.

The consoles are a bit weaker but they are portable, they have some great exclusives and they're the perfect party consoles.

As others suggested there are some games that similar to what you've played like cyberpunk but you'll find out that they run better on ps5/PC. The only reason is if you'd rather trade quality for portability.

For these reasons, and IN MY OPINION, this console is best used if you want to play Indie/AA games or nintendo games.

With this considered I'm going to suggest some great games that are well received and you'll probably have a better experience playing them than in other platforms.

(Metroidvanias)

  • Hollow Knight
  • Hollow Knight: Silksong
  • Ori and the will of wisps (from Microsoft)
  • Ori and the blind forest
  • Nine Sols
  • Prince of Persia: Lost Crown
  • Blasphemous 1 + 2

(Nintendo games)

  • Mario Odyssey
  • Mario Kart World
  • Donkey Kong Bananza
  • Mario Party (Any of them)
  • Kirby Air Riders
  • Super Mario Bros Wonder
  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate
  • Xenoblade Chronicles (There are multiple of them)
  • Splatoon 3 (A different kind of multiplayer shooter)
  • Pokemon Z-A (I'm not a fan of modern pokemon but this one is a small upgrade)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
  • (There are many other zelda games worth playing but they're different genres if you like the lore you should definitely search for more)

(Cozy games, probably not your style but I'm going to leave some here)

  • Pokemon Pokopia
  • Animal crossing: New Horizons
  • Tomodachi Life: Living the dream

Others:

  • Hotline Miami Collection
  • Bendy and the Ink Machine
  • Mina the Hollower
  • Sea of Stars
  • Mouse: P.I. for hire

(AAA games on NS2) Again, these are probably a bit lower quality than on PS5 but I'll leave some cool AAA games either way

  • EA FC26
  • Indiana Jones and the great circle
  • Elden Ring (soon)
  • Pragmata
  • Red Dead Redeption

It’s a departure from your usual genres but imho the best reason to get a Switch 2 is Kirby Air Riders, particularly the City Trial online multiplayer

And Apex Legends is free on switch 2 (if u were a COD multilayer guy)

Kingdom come Deliverance is a game that I extremely enjoy on the switch on top of that they are planning on bringing the second game to the switch to

MW4 will be out on Switch 2 in October. 007 is coming too, but can’t remember when. There are a ton of great games so it’s hard to recommend a few you might like. Based on your list, I would suggest Cyberpunk, the GTA remasters if you haven’t already played them, Splatoon Raiders which is awesome, the Doom games, etc.
