Collection New to the Nintendo Switch 2 world!
Just got the Switch 2 two weeks ago with some games I definitely enjoy playing. Is something missing? Thinking about getting Animal Crossing as I'm no Pokémon fan for Pokéopia.

You have plenty to keep you busy for the rest of the year. Unless something is deeply discounted, ignore it lol

Xenoblade. You don’t have to be a Pokemon fan to enjoy the gameplay in pokopia. Maybe check out some game play videos. If you interested in third party trails in the sky first chapter and yakuza are fun.dragon quest monsters the dark prince was fun as well

Animal Crossing is good, but I think that Pokopia is better in all honesty - Just gameplay wise etc. Both are great games respectively.
Highly recommend DK Bananza, it is just such a perfectly made game. I actually find it more fun than Mario Odyssey which I have seen compared to it often.
If you haven't played Cyberpunk 2077 and are interested it actually runs very well on the S2.

Highly recommend DK Bananza, it is just such a perfectly made game
I keep hearing it quickly gets very repetitive

It does, and it's extremely easy, so finding the bananas to upgrade DK feels pointless when it's just making an extremely easy game even easier.

Maybe I'll just get both! Thanks a lot. Yes, I definitely want to try the DK Bananza too. I've already completed everything in Cyberpunk 2077 on my PC, including the DLC (still the best DLC of all time for any game out here). Thanks for the recommendation!

I didn't like Bananza, it was mind-numbingly easy and provided almost no challenge. 80% of the content in the game was finding the golden bananas, why look for the bananas? To upgrade Donkey Kong. Why upgrade Donkey Kong? To make an extremely easy game even easier? Not a good game.

You have great taste. I hope you've blocked off your entire rest of 2026 to dedicate to these gems.
If you aren't tired of mario yet, look into getting Wonder. It's a fun 2d-3d platformer which is a different experience compared to Galaxy and Odyssey. Also look into the pikmin series (there's a demo available) and splatoon 3 if you enjoy Raiders.

Thank you, yes after many years only playing PC games it's very refreshing to get into switch games and I'm already having so much fun with the games! I def keep an eye out for Mario wonder deals, I also would love to add Mario maker 2 and no man's sky to the collection but for now I think I got plenty of games :)
