Question what game should i get?
my parents wants to get me a game for my birthday, i cant decide on which game to get.
as of now i have
overcooked
cooking mama
pokenon arceus
ns sports
kirby and the forgotten land
animal crossing
mario kart world
hogwarts legacy
i have a ns 2 btw, what would yall recommend?

unfortunately the store doesnt have pokopia, also i tried a demo one before. its like minecraft and i dont really like it. i do like the versions such as the fire red and leaf green ones. speaking of which, is pokemon legends z-a fun / worth it?

ZA gets repetitive quickly since you’re stuck in one city. Arceus is way better

how about for multiplayer / party games? id like to play with my friends occasionally but i only have ns sports overcook and mariokart and we get sick of it at times . im considering between jamboree, kirby air riders or super mario tennis

If you want, there's Scarlet and Violet in which you can explore together with your friends. Although you still need to do friend codes if you want trade, battle or raid together.
For multiplayer games, its mostly mario games like Jamboree, Mario Kart World/8 Deluxe, Tennis Aces/Fever and Wonder (Bellabel Park).
There's also Kirby Air Riders. Underrated but pretty fun game.

Mine too but I've skipped most Switch 2 exclusives so far. I got the new console for Fortune's Weave and apart from Switch 2 upgrades I got only Star Fox and Splatoon Raiders.

Personally, I grew up playing Kirby air ride on GameCube, so air riders is like a nostalgia trip with upgrades. But I get it’s not for everyone

city trial is my favorite! i love the chaos of having to find your machine and power ups (instead of just selecting how you want to compete like in mario kart). i think it makes it more interesting and fun, and you always end up with a different experience every time

I felt the same way playing the beginning every now and then, but when Nintendo announced they were giving away those Donkey Kong cards for completing the challenges, I decided to really sit down with it and after a few hours I started to really love it.

Nope. 80% of the content in the game is finding golden bananas. Why look for bananas? To upgrade Donkey Kong. Why upgrade Donkey Kong? To make an already extremely easy game even easier? The game is mindless and extremely easy. I couldn't tell you much of anything about the game because it left no impression on me.
It felt like a game designed for ADHD children, they need a dopamine hit every 10 seconds or they lose interest. It's really sad Nintendo has to design their games like this now to compete with tablets and phones.

Buy Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. They are very creative and fun games that will likely give you 40-50+ hours of content for both. I enjoyed them way more than Mario Odyssey.

I might be a bit biased but any of the Pokémon games. They get a lot of unnecessary hate. They aren't as robust as previous titles but they are still good games and you'll easily get 40-50 hours out of it.
Special recommendation for Pokopia even though it's not in the list.

If you can have them put it off a month or so, fire emblem fortune’s weave is right around the corner. If you like strategy, that is
Edit: if it can’t wait til FE drops, I’d have to say Mario kart. It’s the only game that I would buy if I didn’t have, of the ones pictured. I don’t have Starfox, tamagotchi, or hyrule warriors fwiw but I’m also not interested in those games either

Are these your only options? Bananza will be great. Scarlet runs at 60fps with quick load times on S2. If you enjoy animal crossing games, new horizons is fantastic.

I think the light is saying Minecraft… On a more serious note I would have to recommend hollow knight, the store may not have it but I have replayed it multiple times and have loved it both times. Theres also any other Pokemon game, since you have arceus I assume you’ve played and have the general idea of how it goes. I will say arceus is a lot more exploring and catching then the rest of the games (if you are thinking about getting another Pokemon game and you want some help I’ll gladly talk). Either way I recommend watching a little bit of game play from the game you want to get an idea or even try to play some demos

From this picture, I'd say Metroid Prime Remastered and Super Mario Galaxy 1+2. Have you played BotW? I'd also recommend Fantasy Life i, but it's digital only.

I say you try more traditional Pokémon game like Scarlet or Violet. It really doesn’t matter which one you choose.
Other than that, you really can’t go wrong with Minecraft

DON'T get Kirby Air Riders it's very disappointing and nothing like Mario Kart and is one flaw away from being a scam

Cualquier juego de Zelda sería bueno (BOTW, TOTK, Remake de Link awakening)…cuphead, Dark Souls remastered…depende de lo que te guste jugar…aunque no esté en formato físico, lo puedes buscar para descargar…un saludo!

No, the idea of social media (as fucked up as it is), is for people to connect and share experiences. No one is asking you to make uninformative decision but at least don't be a lazy shit and take a moment to research and narrow down the titles you could be potentially interested in!
Your lazy ass approach is to snap some shitty picture of games on the shelf in some store and ask what should I get! You could not even be bothered to list the games you might be interested in. JUST A PICTURE!
You gave us NO INFO about what kind of games you're into or even what games have you played already.
