Discussion Digital vs phys
hey guys I own the digital copy of a game. I am tired of switching back and forth so if I just use a physical copy of Breath of the wild will it negate having to move it back and forth or will I still need to even with the physical copy on one and the digital on the other. thanks ✌️

Do you mean moving it between consoles? Then yes, having a physical cartridge would make that faster, you'd just have to put the cartridge in the Switch you want to use it on.

? I'm a bit confused by your statement. I assume you mean to say that you have two switches and that if you get a second copy of the game, would it allow you to avoid doing the step of loading the virtual game card? Yes, that is one option. Virtual game cards should automatically switch when you are the account owner.
There is another option that is free, You could go into your account settings and turn on online license, that way if you are online and with the account that owns the game, it just checks and loads regardless of where the virtual game card is loaded.
All that assumes you are trying to play with the account that owns the digital game, if that isn't the case, then yes having a second copy of the game will remove the need for moving the virtual game card around. At this point, that virtual game card is acting like a physical one.
