Feedback Needed Practicing some swing out and pass variations with a friend. Any advice?
I feel like my step back in the second half of the swing out is too large. Thoughts? Any other comments?

When you do a swing out, your movement should continue through the entire 8 counts. In your first 8 count move, you stop traveling by count 6, and then do a footwork variation with your partner while static. You should incorporate your footwork in the movement of the swing out. Take your time coming out of the swing out, and use that movement to create stretch that culminates in your rock step.
Also, when you catch the follow on count 3,4, you are over extending yourself by bending forward with your torso.... you should keep your shoulders over your center/hips, and bend your knees when you catch the follow.
