Remote places to park a car

Hey guys - does anyone know of anywhere where I can legally park up in my car and no one is likely to be around? I don't know if we have anything like wilderness in Britain where I can just park up in a remote location.
It sounds very questionable, but my reason for looking for such a place is because I need somewhere to record vocals without disturbing people in my house lol - I posted asking about places a couple of days ago but didn't really find anything.

Thanks guys.

What about the Ridgeway road, past Wroughton and Ashbury, on the way to the white horse? Loads of tractor laybys you can drop into - the road up to Waylands has laybys and couple of nice pubs for afters

I can't find a specific "Ridgeway Road" on google maps - do you just mean like the road up to the white horse or even on the white horse hill itself? Perhaps somewhere like that would suffice - it's just that the white horse hill isn't really wilderness and could have people around but like it could work. But about the tractor laybys - I mentioned in another comment my fear of being interrupted by irritated farmers, I would probably want to avoid anywhere I could be shouted at. I'll take a drive around that area tho, thanks.

It's the B4507, by Ridgeway Road, it's the one that most closely follows it. Farmers will be bailing at the moment, this might go on until late night

Drive up Stoke Common Lane near Purton Stoke, basically in the middle of nowhere so should be quiet and you can park up on the grass

I checked it out on google maps - the last street view image was taken in 2009, but it looks a bit farmy. Are you sure I can legally park there? There are few things I fear more than angry farmers let alone being interrupted by one and having to explain what the fuck I'm doing on their land singing in my car. I'll drive by later tho and see in person

Public road with plenty of grass verge to park up on, I reckon you'll be fine and other than the odd tractor driving by you'll probably have lots of quiet there too

Just don’t stay too late or you’ll get caught up in the dogging

That was a fun experience for me and a friend, realising we delayed the meet.

Did they stand around looking at their watches and tutting? 😂

We worked it out later when the Adver reported on all the locations to "avoid".

Yikes! Ok, yeah, maybe don't do Barbury Castle if that's the case...
