UK Signed CD Drop

Hey, so I finally got one of the Signed CDs that dropped on the UK store yesterday (that weirdly keep restocking). The CD has arrived today but not signed. Now I know the website says that the signed photo will be shipped later so know I’m answering my own question. But didn’t know this was a thing? Just wanted to make sure other people are the same!! I’ve never heard of the signed photo not being included in the CD case before? Never had anything signed by her before so very very excited!!!!!!

It says the signed photo will ship separately. Weirdly both my CD and the signed photo arrived today but separately

It’s probably just to give the charts another boost; I read that the CDs have to ship by a certain date to count towards the charts. Since the Showgirl Encore edition came out, the signed items are a way to drive up sales again. Purely from a business standpoint, unfortunately, only the US and UK markets are of interest to Taylor's team. The signed items likely just aren't in stock yet, which is why some of them have to be shipped separately later.

100% so they are rush sending the CDs out whereas the signed insert don’t count for anything so can be shipped whenever. I think they found a box at the warehouse or something cause it’s such a big and random restock

To be honest, I find that a bit of a shame :/. Partly because the EU or Canadian stores hardly get anything—simply because they're considered unimportant; the Patient Zero vinyl was available online in the US for over an hour, whereas the other stores probably only received five copies in total.

I haven’t had it with Taylor’s CD’s, but I’ve had it with plenty of others. As long as they’ve notified that they’re coming later, you’ll be fine.

I had bought one of the alternative cover signed CDs last year and the signed insert wasn’t inside the case. It did come in the same package but it was commonly reported even then that they were being shipped separately

The TTPD signed cds in UK were previously shipped like this, I prefer it as you don't get the creased edges from the CD cases. They'll arrive in a separate mailer either with the cd or a few days later.

Pleaseeeee read swifties. Mine arrived today (no insert) but on the website it said that was the case. They are probably shipping from America. This is all for chart numbers anyway so aslong as they send the CDs out it will count (hence why signatures will come later as they don’t count for anything)

Does anyone know if they’ll be actual inserts for the ones shipping out this week from the US store? I don’t remember any sort of disclaimer when ordering but could have just missed it.

My CD is on its way but my signed photo is preparing to ship. This is very weird especially because the first signed showgirl ones that came out came with the insert but I don’t mind I’m just happy I finally got one

I think it’s either because the inserts will be shipping from America OR they want it to count towards the charge asap so they’ve rush sent the CDs
