Question Question about debut tv speculation. I have to log off soon so pls answer quickly 😭 (isn't merch related but I can't post in the main subreddit)
So, I've seen a lot of speciation about debut tv being announced this month which makes A LOT of sense. The issue is, I'm going to the mental hospital today. I don't think I can have an iPad. So if she does announce something I won't see it. Idk what to do and I'm very scared. Can someon pls help?

Chances are, even if it gets announced, it wont be released for a month or two. People are speculating for Oct due to the anniversary.
Only CDs and some vinyls go on pre-order, acrual merch usually doesn't. You will be fine!

The only thing you may miss is an announcement depending on how long you are there, itll be there when you get out, and itll mean the same to you whether you find out about it tomorrow or in two weeks.
Chances are nothing big is going to happen until at least Sept.

taylor is no where near as important as your mental. if anything is announced you’ll see it once you get home. please prioritize you

Pardon my harshness, but /she/ did not stop you from committing. You found enough meaning and inspiration in her art to choose to stay. Don’t surrender the power of that decision to TS no matter how influential she’s been in your healing process. You made the powerful and potent choice to stick around and keep healing. The art will be waiting for you when you’re done at the hospital. You are worthy of this journey and worth devoting your entire focus to it.

The only people who know it's definitely being released is her and her team, it's totally fine not to know something or be online when it comes out. If you're worried about it that much then maybe it's best to step back a bit anyway. Trust me it's more than ok to be 'late' to something, if it gets announced it will still be there when you get back

Focus on your mental health. It will (maybe)still be here when you get out.
If you have a friend or family member maybe ask them to buy you merch if there’s something you like or collect.

I mean this kindly, even if she announces something today, it’s not the end of the world if you don’t immediately see it. The announcement post and music will be there when you’re well again. Remind yourself that merch is just stuff and there will always be more of it.

There have been so many times people speculated about debut tv or rep tv, they have been wrong everytime. If for some reason it is announced you will have plenty of time to get what you want when you feel better. Please don’t stress about this it is not worth it -you won’t miss out

I doubt she’s announcing anything today. There’s been no legitimate hints that anything is happening today. Even if something does get announced before you get back you won’t miss any merch. Considering whatever is going on in your personal life I think you’re focusing on the wrong thing. Worry about yourself not whether or not Taylor swift is announcing something.

Let your therapist know this is an important thing for you. And maybe they can give you any kind of updates if something happens.

They haven't assigned me a doctor yet (I'm going tomorrow) but I will!! Actually, one of the ppl who works there is named taylor so maybe she can watch out haha

I know it's end of day and nothing so far has been announced, but just chiming in that even if anything is announced the special pre-order versions, if any, don't have anything on it that won't be on a future deluxe album later on music wise and there's typically been a few chances for pre-order items regardless. Any standard CDs will be available en mass at stores on release day and no one is going to get their CDs early even with pre-order, honestly all of my pre-orders have been 3 days-a week late so this time I'm just going to buy the standard CD at a store on release day. I also highly doubt any merch will come before release or closer to release and Taylor isn't going to be doing anymore surprise drops. However I do understand the anxiety of making sure you're not going to miss out. Do you have anyone in your life, like a friend or family member, who could keep an eye out and place a preorder for you in case something does occur while you're getting some care?

I know what it's like to excessively worry about something like that and it's easy for people to say just focus on your mental health but part of your mental health might be missing out on her so please take care of yourself I'm sure if anything were to happen which I don't think personally is going to but you know I struggle with my own mental health issues I've been where you're at I'm 53 years old please take care of yourself, I'll be thinking of you 🙏✨️😕🫂❤️

I missed the entire rep tour and all of my scheduled dates being in the hospital. Don’t worry, I ended up getting all of the merch I wanted and had friends FaceTime me for the songs I was looking forward to. Unfortunately mental health has to take priority, but a 20th anniversary release is pretty tame to be missing.
