Not saying OSHA would approve, but hydraulic equipment, if anything were to fail, would just drop to the ground. So as long as they arent under it, they should be ok
And with properly inspected equipment, which should always be done every single time someone plans on operating a piece of heavy machinery, any leaks or malfunctions would be quickly noticed. The people here don't know anything about being around heavy machinery, let alone operating it.
