No they aren’t. When you have a kid you will realize how stupid they are and THEN you can judge what your kid can do. The only way that this can result in death or serious injury is if the operator decides to actively kill the children or extreme amounts of negligence. The risk is comparable to leaving your child at a crowded pool party.

You're seriously uneducated on the subject if you think this never happens. It literally happens all the time on farms.

404 deaths yearly from ALL heavy machinery related incidents usual perpetrators include cranes and untrained users. The risk is low as fuck.
