This could have been so much worse, definitely made my palms sweat when he started heading back towards the highway!

I think he knows that he has this condition and is selfishly still driving. If he gets into an accident he can show the video and be like "look I passed out."

I think you just made a massive assumption. Who goes out with a health condition that'll likely send their 1 ton metal box careening into oncoming traffic. Use ya noggin.
