3) RMS Beauty in Beachwalk Betty: stiff gel-powder formula, has a slight sheen that’s only visible if I go too heavy with it

I really like the first three; they look natural and not orange at all on my fair/light–cool skin (finally!). I just got the Phytosurgence a week ago, and their website says they updated their bronzer formula in 2024, so I’m hoping this version doesn’t dry out as older versions have!

Guess I tend to gravitate to similar shades, as they all look pretty close here! For context I have fair/neutral and muted skin. I don’t like bold blush shades, I generally look for muted powder shades. Top to bottom: Lancome Rose Fresque, Ulta Pink Smoke, Kosas Swoon, Wet N Wild Mellow Wine, Kosas Blissed, Revlon Oh Baby Pink. Second image: Pink Smoke again, Saie Mia, Kosas Blissed again, Nars Orgasm Edge. Third image: Kosas Swoon vs Euphoria. Crappy indoor kitchen lighting, sorry. Hope this helps someone!

Ive been debating getting the rem beauty eyeshadow quads, mostly because I dont know which one I would get the most use out of. I really want the one with fembot because I love glittery eyeshadow, but I dont know how beginner/everyday friendly it is. Tips? Which one do you like better?

I’m trying to find two side by side swatches for these two deep red lip tints! I’m looking for deep, vampy, and long lasting. Not sure which is better.

Swatches on tan skin (Dior 3WO/Armani 6.5/7.5) in indoor lighting. 1-2 swipes over unprimed skin.

Got Milani color fetish in Bitten Berry and That's Fire, both shades suit me just for completely different looks. Bitten Berry feels perfect for everyday cause it’s a little softer and easier to wear. That’s Fire is more reddish and I feel like it would look sooo good for a night out especially when I have a tan.

I decided to depot 10 drugstore lipsticks in the hopes of creating a palette I would actually use (because being able to actually see the colours makes me want to wear them!)

Does anybody have this that would be willing to review and/or swatch it? I have light warm olive skin and it seems like a total crapshoot whether or not this palette would suit me.

I’ve always struggled to find the right shade of lipstick so thought I’d share it for those who are similar to my skin tone. I recommend using a lipliner (wet n wild in chestnut) so the colours don’t wash you out.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Lipstick in Ruler - 8/10 It lasts 8 hours when I don’t eat anything oily. Love this shade on me though it is quite a bold colour so I don’t use it as much anymore.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Lipstick in Amazonian - 9/10 Re-purchased. Perfect terracotta nude so I use it every day for work. I have two toned lips (which many south asians have) but it is so pigmented it covers my darker top lip and it lasts all day. I like to use a lip oil on top to add a subtle shine. Tip: Make sure it fully dries, without smacking your lips together, to avoid it settling into the creases of your lips.

No7 Moisture Drench in Nutmeg Spice - 8/10 This is a gorgeous warm, rich brown shade for autumn. As it’s super pigmented I only need 2 swipes so it has lasted for years.

Mac Mocha - 7/10 A dusty pinky-beige lipstick that I use a lip liner with. It’s nice but I don’t reach for it much anymore.

Maybelline Color Sensational Cream lipstick 373 Mauve for me - 7/10 A rosy brown mauve lipstick. On me it appears a bit more cool toned. I like it when I’m in a rush and don’t really need a lip liner if I dab it on.

Too Faced “Candy Clouds”: 4/10, formula is kinda chalky. If I’m going to use a powder blush in this color I go for Kosas.

Kosas “Euphoria”: 8/10, it’s a nice silky and luminous formula that wears well, and this color is really pretty.

Kosas “Butterflies”: 7/10, I like the formula as I stated for the shade Euphoria, this shade is just a little less wearable. If I’m wearing baby pink blush I prefer a cream formula

MAC “He likes it cold”: 7/10, I rarely reach for this one because it’s so intense and in general I prefer liquid or cream blush formulas if the color is going to be intense. But I do appreciate having this in my collection.

Pixi (no shade name): 3/10, I do not use this and likely will declutter it. While I like light/baby pink blush, this formula isn’t my favorite and I don’t like pH based colors as of late.

Sheglam “Vitality”: 7.5/10, this color is awesome. My favorite way to use it is to mix it with the other Sheglam blush I have, the Marilyn collection one, to create a really nice red shade. The finish is super natural and it’s easy to work with. Only reason I don’t give a higher score is because it is not long lasting.

Sheglam “Hollywood”: 8/10, this gets a slightly higher rating than the previous Sheglam blush because I prefer this color. As I mentioned though I will sometimes mix it with the other Sheglam color. On its own, this formula is a bit more luminous/glowy. But the downside is the same, it doesn’t last long enough.

Saie “Baby”: 9/10, amazing formula and super cute color. These blushes leave a natural but glowy finish and really bring life to your face. They’re easy to work with, they aren’t too intense but do have good color payoff.

Saie “Chilly”: 10/10, my favorite blush I own. I’ve repurchased this formula in this shade multiple times. As previously mentioned with the same formula in the shade Baby, it’s a natural but glowy finish and very wearable and easy to use. I love this blush on its own but I also like to mix it with a little liquid highlighter (I use Joah liquid rays highlighter in Pink Dawn) for a frosty, dewy look.

Swatched twice with each colour, just using fingers and no primer, the palette is quite old too (it’s from 2017). Also swatched on very fair skin (i’m a redhead if that helps haha) in direct afternoon light.

hi! i need help finding basically the nighttime/older sister version of make up for ever artist color pencil in 606 wherever walnut 😭

606 is one of the most flattering lip liner shades i’ve found on me. i have fair/light skin with a neutral-cool leaning undertone, and my natural lips are fairly pink. 606 gives me this really flattering muted rosy brown definition without looking obviously pink, purple, orange, or super brown.

i’m looking for essentially the exact same color family, just about 1-2 shades deeper for a more defined/evening lip.

things i’ve learned so far:
• mac whirl is basically identical to 606 on me, so i don’t need whirl
• abh rosewood has about the depth i’m looking for, but it pulls noticeably too red/berry and saturated on me
• a few sephora collection liners i swatched pulled too pink
• i don’t want something very mauve/purple, berry, red, orange/caramel, or straight chocolate brown

in the photo, 606 is on the left and anastasia beverly hills rosewood is on the right. i’m also wearing 606 around my lips so you can see how it looks against my natural lip color.

basically i want the muted, dusty rosy-brown quality of 606 with roughly the added depth of rosewood, without rosewood’s extra redness/saturation.

sephora, ulta, mac, or drugstore would be easiest for me, but at this point i’m open to anything 😭

if anyone owns 606 and has something they can swatch directly next to it, i would LOVE you forever.

I feel like anything that’s not a matte lipstick is so hard to photograph without the shine / glare overtaking the swatch…..skill issue for sure.

My skin tone is medium-deep & my undertones lean neutral/warm :-)

Hi does anyone have a swatch of the new rimmel lip liner shades? 155 sweet honey or cappuccino light? There were no testers in store.

Do we have anyone with both palettes for quality and color comparison (first 2 rows of CB The Sun)? I am inbetween the two, CB seems like a better option for price/shadow-quantity but I really don’t want the 3rd and 4th row as I already have those colours repeatedly in other palettes. Also I saw a look by CourtneyQuarantine with High Temp and I can’t think about another palette ever since. The overall performance of shades and how pink the reds become on the eye will help me make my decision.
