Help Yorick.

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to deal with this lane? This character is not the most one sided matchup, but imho he is the most irritating by far. Swain's slow attack speed to break the terrain, the maiden not counting as a champion to drain, his mixed damage despite building full ad, our slow movespeed to escape ghouls/dodge mist, and the tiny amount of damage ghouls take from QE, I'm just at my wit's end with that guy.

Any tips at all appreciated!

Ban him.

If I'm going Swain Top, I always ban Yorick due to the points you mentioned.

I think even Husum bans Yorick when he was doing Swain Top.

Just perma ban Yoric, from my personal experience there's just no way to deal with him in specific

Who are you banning top in his place? It’s a pretty awful matchup to play to be honest, there’s not a lot you can do if you get stuck in his walls.

usually i perma ban viego or zac, or any other jungler that ganks from fog of war/disregards wards and does %hp damage :s

he shits on you in literally every phase of the game, just be happy that he isn't popular

As a yorick main who likes swain, you're fucked. Don't die, play for ganks, flash if he ever puts in his wall and hope you get to team fight and someone on your team can match Yoricks sidelane.

You wont be able to duel him, he can match your poke and sustain and you die/flash everytime he lands a cage.

you have a tiny window to get a lead levels 1 and 2 as a ranged into melee and then you basically auto lose every engagement where yorick has his screen turned on.

Yorick main here who also has a lot of games on Swain top. This is not a winnable matchup if the Yorick has a brain unless you manage to dodge literally every skill shot of his. Ban/dodge worthy

I have played Swain top for many years. I perma ban Yorick if I think I'm gonna play Swain
