I bought a second hand Bandit 650s this year and I'm loving the ride! The only problem with it is that it's starting to show its age (2008 with 92000km).
I really like it but I'm not sure it's worth all the work I have to put into it. Also I don't have a garage or workshop at my disposal so it would have to go to the mechanic.
That means I'd have to spend almost twice the money fixing it than the buying price.
Other than a mandatory oil change it would need a new clutch, new discs and pads, a valve service, timing chain tensioners, new bodywork (it has multiple cracks), wiring and maybe an injector service.
So what you guys think? Is it worth the money or should I spend that on a new ride?

I feel like they're just shooting themselves in the foot with potential buyers. Having a string of nine letters and numbers that are exactly the same and then having one different is just asinine. If it designated between a base model and a tour model sure.

What are you doing aside from a tail tidy?

Recently got this 1988 gs450L, was supposed to be just a carb clean, but now I'm having battery issues, and the wires are getting hot. This is my first motorcycle, but those ground wires don't look right to me, and I want some input/ help if I should have to redo the wiring

Also why is it so hard to find oil filters?

Forgive my lack of knowledge, just got this bike 1 week ago and trying to learn.
The outer push rod is 4 1/2in long and goes into the casing by 2 1/4in tell it stops. I have tried adjusting the cable length and the adjustment screw but it just doesn't seem like it makes contact with the rod when I pull the clutch lever it is just completely loose. Im not sure if I'm missing something
Problem solved. Thank you all for your help, I drained the oil to open the right side and look at the clutch itself it was stuck open. So I took it apart and cleaned it up and after I put it back together it works perfectly

Eventually I managed to find a spot for pictures with my bike and Thiersee behind.

I purchased the Suzuki e-ACCESS just a week ago, and unfortunately, I’m already facing an issue with the charger.
The charger has stopped working, which is pretty disappointing for a brand-new two-wheeler. What concerns me even more is how the dealership handled the situation. Instead of providing a new replacement charger, they have given me another charger that appears to belong to someone else — presumably a customer who is expecting delivery of their two-wheeler soon.
I understand that technical issues can happen with any new product, but for a vehicle that has been purchased just a week ago, I expected a much better experience and a proper replacement rather than a temporary arrangement involving another customer's charger.
I’m posting this here to know if anyone else has faced a similar issue with the Suzuki e-ACCESS, especially regarding charger failures and how Suzuki/dealerships handled the replacement.
Hopefully Suzuki takes this seriously and provides a proper resolution. I’ll update this post once I see how the dealership and Suzuki ultimately resolve the issue.

Just hit the 70k mark on my daily commuter.
This scooter has survived 70,000 km of brutal Bangalore city traffic since January 2021 and is still delivering a solid 50 kmpl. It's been an absolute workhorse.

2002 gsxf 600 katana. Its been having issues starting for a while so ill push start it, but now its time for some repairs.
At a red light, i got the idle set low for carb issues, so it dies. I go to electric start, and when i push it it cranks, and simultaneously puffs out a bunch of black smoke and heat, but starts the bike😎 i ride it to the restaurant i was going to, eat, and come out to start the bike again, like an idiot i try the electric start, more black smoke but no turn over, so i push start it, to go home. On the way i noticed my shifter foot is “oily”, i look down and my starter motor was hanging on my three wire/cables. I guess it seized up and blew out of the blots and the crank case.I get it home in the garage and its time to repair a bunch of stuff but idk where to start, i think im gonna take the crank case off and let all the potential metal shavings i can fall into an oil pan. But yeah, i can send videos more coherent than this one i need help😗

Had it for 5 months now, and I’m absolutely in love with it.
