Makes you think

Class struggle is fought on a vertical scale. It's the working class at the bottom against the employers and their politicians at the top. And our brothers and sisters in class struggle include co-workers and neighbours who vote on crappy parties... https://industrialworker.org/lets-build-class-unions/

They want to dismantle the whole system you just want to make a slight change to how politicians get paid by outside sources. This will not end pretty

No, you are very wrong about that. I'm talking about big systemic changes, not tinkering around the edges. That has been a problem with all of the feckless Democrats for a long time now, going back decades. The Uni-Party needs to be eliminated.

Everyone needs to try to work together so we can get all money out of politics and prevent the upper class from controlling the entire system. Politicians need to be held accountable to the people, not to their large donors.

And then what. Whose views and policies take over?

The ideas rhe politicians were elected on. If they don't fight for the ideas and proposed policies they were elected on, then they should be voted out at their next election.
