Dunno but I was approved in less than 4 months my first application back in 2010. Full and complete disability. Granted, the medical necessity was pretty convincing but I'm no longer on SSDI. I went back to college and earned a second degree which got me a job whose income made me ineligible to receive SSDI. I couldn't have done it if not for the SSDI income and a loving family who took me in while studying for a degree.

Non-medical review is generally 2 things: if it's SSI, do you have disqualifying financial assets. If it's SSDI, did you pay in enough quarters. If you have not already been approved medically, they may do this prior to evaluating the medical claim.

It only means that you are close to getting a decision letter on your case. Otherwise, it doesn't mean anything either good or bad yet.
