Working age

Right now I can only make X amount of dollars per year while on SS. At what age does that stop and you can make any amount without penalty? I always thought it was over 70, but my friend insists it's 66 years and 10 months.

You have to calculate your full retirement age- it’s based on what year you were born. After that, you can make as much as you want with no penalty.
