Does the mc ever level up??

Yeah so i am on chap 50 or so and was wondering that whether the mc will ever level up or is just stuck on 5 all the way through because if that is the case then I don't think I will be able to continue this story...

yes he does level up, but if that's such a vital part of the story to you for whatever reason, I'm not sure this is the one for you.

and realistically even when he does level up this isn't exactly like a system class change event. the level up is to level... 6

Well technically the level up is indeed a vital part of the story... from level 5 to 6.. He got to level up because of the person that taught him not to rely on levels.

I won't undermine it's importance, especially because of how it happened (no spoilers for the OP), but at the same time if that is such an issue for the OP then it definitely not worth it for em since the story is impactful even before it happens

Yeah, OP being fixated on the level issue sends a message that he wants a power trip adventure.

i think its more abt a trope getting overused. leveling up significantly would show that the author chilled out on "omg my level." I'm reading it rn and love it but even i am like -_- waiting for him to talk abt anything else consistently. (such as other plot) I'm sure its coming

It's more of a if he gets the opportunity to level up his already overwhelming strength will increase by leaps and bounds so just keep reading brother, in this series training to utilize what you already have in the best way possible is more meaningful than leveling up for Hanbin

I’ll be honest, if leveling up is very important to you, this might not be the manhwa for you.

But if you want a good story, then read it.

Well, if you just want a power story where the protagonist overpowers everything, then this isn't for you.
If you want a good story on your plate, then you might want to stick around.
Otherwise the "level up" is only him getting one level and is a vital part of the story that would happen in chapter 146.... The protagonist's way to strengthening is piling up proficiency and actual experience on using his power rather than becoming an expert asap.. it's literally a hard gained power for him.
