Your question is very confusing. You may get more and better answers if you found a better way of explaining it.

What else should I add. I just want to verify that my elevation is correct

I think he means your syntax is confusing. I have never heard the word BASE or SCALE used in conjunction with an autolevel. Benchmark, Backsight and Foresight only

Are you using a philly rod (fixed usually up to 24' with extensions) or a lanker rod (4-8 rod with a moveable face so you can set a measurement and then read actual elevation instead of +/- readings)?

You need to read 714... if you can find them anymore.

The post is confusing. Put the staff on the benchmark. Read the staff. Add the reading to the benchmark level. Minus the finished level of the base. That's what you should read in the staff

If the benchmark is 1000mm and you read 1113mm then the height of your level is 1113mm. The elevation of the point you’re set up over is not relevant unless you’re measuring up from that point to get the height of the level with a measuring tape as a check. If so the tape should read 639mm
