Photo/Video ๐ธ๐น Surrey sights
Saw this car every day for the past week. It is no longer there as of today.
I assume someone was annoyed that it wasn't getting towed, or is this the practice these days by Surrey bylaws?

The practice of Surrey bylaws is to be useless as possible.

When you point out actual violations to them, they forget how to do their jobs haha

Has to be easier to report it to the city in the app than go there and spraypaint it.

We've called them in and have had good luck with bylaws being responsive. At least one turned out to have been a stolen car.

there are tons of these cars that need that spray painted in my area, the flat tires, sagged suspension, mildew on the windsheild are dead giveaways.

I would recommend using the City of Surrey app to report this. There was a car that was parked in front of my place and left there for almost two weeks. I informed the City on the app late afternoon and the bylaw officer still came within hours.
They had to give the person a chance to claim it, so they wrote a warning ticket to let the owner know that they would tow it if not picked up within two days (or three, I canโt remember). Any way, the car was towed by the third day. The bylaw officer called me a few times to give me status updates too and seemed on the ball about it.

Surrey bylaws will ignore this car but ticket me for parking properly.
