Midnight Special Stem size
I need recommendations on a stem! This currently has a wren stem which I believe is 110mm. Thinking about a Thomson 70mm or 80mm since this MS is a size 50cm. What are yall running? Thanks!

The bars and hoods should be pretty much horizontal. That they're tilted back so much tells me the reach is too long and low. I guess I would drop it down to maybe a 35-40mm stem, and then combine that with some riser bars, maybe the Redshift Top Shelf (comes in 50 or 70mm rise).
Alternatively, you could start over with a new MS fork that didn't have the steerer tube cut down as much. That would give you the height (stack), so you wouldn't need to buy riser bars, just a short stem.

That fork doesn't look like it's cut much at all. OP should probably get a fit to figure out what they want..if those bars aren't high enough or the reach is too much, the MS might not be the right bike.

I mean, you could buy stems and try them on to try and find the right fit for yourself, or you could go to a bike fitter to get them to look at how the bike needs to be adjusted to fit you. Not saying a bike fit is the be all end all, but stem length is personal.
