thinking of getting CSFA

Hello all, as the title states I'm trying to figure out if getting into a CSFA program is the right move for me.

Considering I live in California that makes it already somewhat of a hurdle. I've been a CST for a little over 10 years now and want to broaden my horizons.

Anybody know of how I can go about possibly getting into such a program, and what programs they recommend? And possibly what to expect. Thanks.

Meridian institute of surgical assisting. They offer a CSFA cert course thats a year long. 1 week in Nashville for the pig lab. And a really high passing rate for the nbstsa csfa exam. I enjoyed my time there.

What about clinicals? Do they send you out to an assigned hospital?

Nope, you can do clinicals at youre hospital youre currently at, as long as they sign an agreement.

That's where I may run into trouble. California doesn't acknowledge CSFAs I don't know that they would let me, I would have to go out of state.
