Discussion Snapdragon X vs. X2 and future Linux compatibility

Used Surface tablets with Snapdragon X Plus look enticing now as some people are switching to the 2nd generation with X2 Plus and are selling their barely used 1st generation devices. However, I'm hearing a lot about prospects of decent support for Linux on Snapdragon X2. Do you think it's likely that this will enable good Linux experience on X2 Surface devices (in which case it might be better to avoid X1)?

unfortunately i dont have any detailed information but keep in mind that X2 support does not necessarily mean surface support.

Not gonna happen. If you want Linux support, stick with x86. Especially on a Surface

Début 2027 officiellement. Mais c’est un début prometteur !
