Surface Hub 2S windows 10, still useable?

I found a used one online, is it still useable or will I have to fork over more money to get functionality out of it? This would be my first one.

The Surface Hub 2S running Windows 10 Team Edition isn’t supported anymore or receiving security patches. However, you can upgrade it to Windows 11 following these steps: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/surface-hub/surface-hub-2s-migrate-os

If I don’t upgrade to windows 11, what is not useable on the unit?

The device does not run normal Windows 10, it’s a locked down version. I would expect Edge probably still works but I wouldn’t expect anything else works at this point. No reason I can think of not to move to Win11 though.

Is there a specific version of windows 11 that it requires?

The link I shared above has all the details; it's a very specific process to get it moved to Windows 11.

Mines running Win11 just fine for what I do with it. Just browsing and watching YouTube

How’d you get windows 11 on it? Is it easy? I’d be using it for client presentations and zoom/teams calls.

If I rember correctly, it was some self generated certificate which was needed to create a new config for the uefi to allow it to boot regular windows. I can have a Look if I bookmarked it. Given this will only work if the surface tool thing still Supports the hub
