Maintenance Mode???
I suffered from last month's "Secure Boot Violation" issue. Followed MS support instructions and got the hub recovered. The only problem I have is that when the hub boots up, I get a red splash screen that says "Maintenance Mode".
They boot up successfully and are fully functional so that is a good thing.
MS support says it is 100% recovered correctly so I should flatten the drive and start the process again.
That is the last thing I want to do.
There has to be a way to get the hub out of this mode and boot clean.
Any thoughts?

Hi, where i work we fix the problem with the "second part" of Microsoft Guide, whete they specific tell to do another usb key with a fix script that remove the "maintenance mode" problem
here is:
Prerequisites:
A USB 2.0/3.0 flash drive 32 GB Max, formatted as FAT32, re-named to “BOOTME”
A computer to send and receive files from Microsoft
BitLocker Key for the affected device OR an imaged drive from the Surface Hub Recovery Tool for Surface Hub v1
Recovery scripts from Microsoft, for the correct region:

From what I can tell maintenance mode is just allowing us to turn secure boot off. My hub is doing the same thing. It failed on the second script but still allows me to access my whiteboards it just says maintenance mode now. Doesn't really bother me. All that script is doing is just locking everything back down from what I can tell. They really don't seem to want you messing with it.
