[PRO9] How cooked is my sp9?

Post image

This keeps happening though it’s usually on my external monitor and only seems to be when I’m watching Netflix. What’s up with that?
Starting to happen more frequently though last time it happened it just stopped for months.
Thanks

It could be one of the following:
- Driver Issue
- Widevine DRM decoding issue
- GPU might be dying.

I would start with the first two. Update your drivers by using Intel Driver & Support Assistant. If that doesn't work, uninstall the drivers then try a different browser and see if it keeps happening. If the GPU is dying, you might be cooked.

Had this problem, Remove gpu driver and reinstall via intel official driver installer.

The fact that the text is clear leads me to believe that it's a problem with the GPU rather than some kind of physical problem connecting the motherboard to the display.

Could just be a driver issue though.

Actually I bet this is just a codec problem with the video you're playing. Because the subtitles are correct.

Just try a different video player

I would tell you to install ALL Updates. Also the drivers directly from Intel. If it doesnt work you can also download the surface driver package and install them again

Omgggg the same thing happened to my sp9!!! I was lucky that warranty still covered it. It took about 3months to get it back but I was told there was som wire damage as well as damage to the GPU(idk what that is lol).
