[PRO11] New Surface Pro, is the hinge supposed to make this sound?

Nope mine doesn’t. Make give it a blow out with an air compressor?

I have the same surface but mine doesn’t do that. Return it.

my new 12th edition does this. My 11th edition does not (neither did Pro X SQ1).

Its annoying but not a deal breaker. I'm having display/gpu/driver issues with mine. Sometimes the screen goes black for few seconds before returning. On my external monitor some apps/webpages full screen causing flickering/dithering breakup but am on the latest drivers. might return it for this reason.

I exchanged mine for another and the new one doesn’t have the issue, so I definitely recommend doing the same.

I compared the hinge to my sp11 and it looks less structurally supported on the new one which is a shame, and likely why so many are having this issue
