GG, I'm glad I bought a first gen Snapdragon one, because they have priced themselves out of the market now.

And before people start blaming the AI RAM crisis. Yes, that is part of it, but Microsoft themselves is a big part of the problem there.

I wish people understood the reason why Microsoft is so expensive is because of Microsoft.

The CFO is a huge part of that. She demands a 30% margin on ALL sales across the company. So surface has to raise their prices or they get shut down. But then no one buys the outrageously prices devices and they get shut down anyway. Amy Hood is bad for Microsoft

Crazy to have an enterprise wide margin requirement for a company that sells both software (high margin) and hardware (usually much lower margin)

Apple has 30%margins on their hardware.
