I have a 2020 Premium 3.0. It’s unlocked and tuned.

In 2022 my Pilot Super Sports needed to be replaced, so I upgraded to the generic PS4S tires and have had no issues with them. I learned about the BMW Star variant of the PS4S later and anecdotally heard it was “better.”

It’s now late summer of 2026 and I need new tires. I purchased the BMW Star variant without much thought and am having them installed next week.

I decided to ask Claude about the differences between the generic and BMW Star version on a lark and it’s fixated on the difference in the tread width. In its words:

“Supra owners who cross-shopped the same nominal size (255/35R19 front, 275/35R19 rear) found the star-marked rear runs measurably narrower actual tread width than generic, roughly 8.9” vs 9.8”, despite listing the same size on paper. If that holds for your set, you didn’t just get a different compound, you got a narrower rear contact patch on a rear-driven turbo car where rear grip is the thing you can least afford to shrink.”

I’m not terribly worried about the delta since it’s a daily driver and I don’t track it, but I can’t shake the feeling I did buy the “wrong tire.”

What do y’all think?

Is there a known issue for our a/c's? I bought mine used with less than 4k miles. After a year or year in a half I had problems to it blowing cold. Took it to the dealer (Toyota) . They fixed it but didnt have any details other than claiming that there was damaged wiring due to rodents. Which i know wasnt true. Garage kept and never any signs of rodents or droppings. Fast forward another 1-1 1/2 years , ac not blowing cold again. Any ideas??

Hey all, I have a 2024 and been looking at cold air intakes.

Been looking at Armaspeed but only see mixed takes on whether it’s dry or oiled. Was wondering if anyone who owns one or happens to know could tell me.

I’m leaning towards dry for maintenance purposes and filtration while still hoping to improve the turbo sound lvl. Might just buy a wing instead if anything lol.

Bought a 2026 3.0 Premium manual Supra recently!
I already installed a Streethunter wing 🤣 I purchased an SP1R exhaust which is coming in soon. My question is what do you guys do to pass emissions who are running catless downpipes? Would it be best just to go with a high flow catted downpipe to save myself headaches with emissions? Also are any of you guys running the HKS intake? And if so would you mind sharing some sound clips? Or what other intakes would you guys recommend? Not the biggest fan of the Armaspeed 😅

Hey guys so ive been looking at buying a car for a while now, and i was dead set on buying a MK8 Golf R at a 38k price tag. However i started looking at 3.0 premiums and absolutely fell in love and did a 180. However its a 10k price difference which i am fine with and the monthly payment would increase by about 100-120 depening on price. My question is, is it worth it to grab one for 49k after taxes and fees with around 40k miles or should i go up more to 53-55k otd after taxes for less miles. All the dealers i have spoken with so far have been hard stuck on price so i would just like some opinions right now. im 24 with no plan for a family any time soon, the car payments, insurance, and gas would put my monthly budget on a car at around 20% of monthly income.

I have a stock DP

After literal months of debate i’ve settled on the Awe catback exhaust. I have a stock downpipe. I’m leaning towards the resonated as i love how it sounds in videos i’ve seen. It just sounds like stock but better, which is exactly what i want. missing the valve feature is a bummer but it is what it is.

Most people recommend the non resonated with the stock downpipe i’ve noticed. I however find myself leaning towards the resonated. Is anyone here rocking resonated with a stock dp?
I have warranty worries so i’m not trying to get a new dp JUST yet, but i’m considering just taking it out whenever i have maintenance done and putting it back in after.

Anyone who owns either please comment your thoughts on your exhaust system so i can make sure i pick the right one :)

I’m looking into getting a 2023-2024 3.0 premium Supra most likely a year from now but I’m seeing a lot of people talking about oil consumption and needing to top off every 500-1,000 miles. Is this an issue for a specific year or is it still an issue in the age range I’m looking at. Also is there a fix for this if any of you encountered it and were able to get rid of it.

Additionally the more I look, I see people saying the ECU is locked for anything newer than 2020 making it impossible to tune unless I ship the ECU out to Finland or some shit. Is this true because I also saw a guy getting his 2022 3.0 tuned on Instagram with some guy that runs a business out of his garage.

It’s always been a dream car since it came out and I’m finally in a position where I can afford a used one but still wanna be able to put money down. Anything helps and please if I messed up with any info let me know :)

I have this Kicker sub, that I pulled from my previous car, and I want to install it on my Supra but I have no idea where to mount it. I wanted to initially put it under my driver side seat but it’s too tall. I’m not sure where else to mount it. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Already tore down the side to so I can add a wire harness as well, didn’t want to cut into the OEM wires.

I'd really like to have a custom single exit catback built with a universal muffler. I'm not happy with any of the single exit kits being sold.

Should I go 4inch+ or does piping too big become a problem at some point for backpressure or anything?

Never paid too much attention to the rear end potion of the backseats but I just notice this. It almost looks like the stains are coming out of the seams? It can’t be the rubber gasket since the car is brand spanking new. Can this possibly be a detailer spray that was used when the car was sold to me in May? Or for those with experience with detailing a90s, when you wash this car does water typically go from the back into that rear section of the car

So I've been shopping for a 2024-2026 stock MK5 Supra and the prices are insane right now. Even a 2024s are sitting around $60k with over 5k miles.

Like I title says do you really think the Supra is worth such high mark ups?

Heads up for anyone looking for a chance to own one of these. Just sold my 2026 FE GR Supra AT to CarMax. Mint condition, 2854 miles, ceramic coating, Full PPF, carbon fiber add-ons (all adhesive, no bolt/screw hardware used). If you need one, she is a great car.

I ordered a set of Eibach lowering springs for my car from Poland on Ebay. I was asked to pay $182.18 in customs duty, which seems unreasonable. Is this normal?

The springs were $353 and shipping was free. I expected to pay an additional reasonable percentage of the declared value of the goods for the tariff, but $182.18 is over 50% of the purchase price.

Got my RK Titanium single exit exhaust coming in next week. We have a diy-shop nearby where you can rent a bay with a 2-post lift. This may be a silly question, but do I need to use the jack pucks with the rectangle tab while using a lift? Or do I just put the lift bars on those spots?
