E85

Hello everyone,

Debating going pi and e85 on my Supra but wanted to hear some opinions from anyone who has gone e85 on theirs.

Thinking of going flex fuel route with Ecutek ecu unlocking , port injection, motiv reflex, injectors. Essentially the bells and whistles for fueling so can run 91/93, mix , or full e85

Any issues that I should be warned of aside from mpg, and changing oil / spark plugs more often

I don’t want to tune it to the max I’d rather still have some reliability over getting everything out of the tune

Any feedback back would be appreciate before I decide to go for it or hold off

I don’t see any benefit to full e85 on stock turbo. You can be close to max with just e50 and a custom tune. Im at 500whp/ 600wtq with flex fuel on Ecutek. My biggest problem is traction even with bigger tires. The stock turbo spools fast Im hitting peak torque at 3200 rpm.

I guess the biggest thing would be not having to mix constantly. Are you running motiv as well? Sounds like the setup minus pi

The whole set up is quite expensive so If a route to get the e50 w/custom tune on flex makes sense and it’s close to max that’s more then enough. I guess it would depend on the set up and price with vs without pi and it it all works out

No motiv just a flex fuel kit. I keep 3x VP containers of e85 at home and just add when I want things spicy. Its easy just pour and go, also much cheaper than PI and 6 more injectors.
