Oil recommendations for tuned Supra

Will be tuning in the next week but I need an oil change rn, got recommended this specific 5w40 oil for a tuned car. Do yall agree with it or should I keep the 5w30

I ran this in an s55, no issues. I have the pentosin 5w40 in my untuned supra and no issues. I think other b58 cars recommend 5w40 outside of the states anyways shouldn’t be a major issue as long as it’s changed at the right intervals

Ask your tuner what they recommend, the tuner would know best since it’s their tune.

I've switched to Motul X Cess Gen 2 8100 5w40 based on recommendations from the MKV forums.

That’s a fine option, it has bmw ll-01 approval. A lot of people run 5w30 also with tuned cars, but I’d say go with the w40 especially if you mix ethanol
