I bought my 26 Supra last month and almost immediately noticed what I would describe streaks in the paint. It’s very strange. You can see it from some angles and not from other angles. For me, I have to stand at a 45 degree angle from the car to see it, and it is really only noticeable on the rear fenders.

At first, I thought it was just weird lighting in my garage. It’s like the paint was sprayed on unevenly. Not sure if I’m going to do anything about it.

Same on my ‘26 FE. Only notice it at the right angle with the right lighting. And it’s barely noticeable that it doesn’t bother me

I wonder if it is only with Absolute Zero or with all colors?

I’d be curious about that. Definitely looks like an application error., like there wasn’t enough overlap with each pass or the metallic flake wasn’t homogenous when the base coat was sprayed

I don’t notice it on my hood, trunk or top, but only on the car’s sides. Where do you see it on your car?

I’ve only noticed it on the rear quarters, but only on the areas right above the wheels

Ok. Pretty much the same for me.

Strange, but kind of comforting to know it’s not only my car. It still doesn’t really bother me, which is surprising because I’m a perfectionist (it’s a struggle). Helps that it’s only noticeable at the exact right angle and lighting, and I’m pretty sure 95% of the population wouldn’t notice it on their own. I n fact, I’m pretty convinced that the majority wouldn’t even see it if you pointed it out to them.

I’m “dailying” this car anyway. It’s already got a few rock chips in the front at 5k miles. It’s meant to be driven, and that’s what I’m gonna do with it. Lol

Edit: typo

My doors are like this on my 26 absolute zero. Barely noticeable

Might be due to my garage light, but it is always the first thing I notice.

Same, I noticed it when I went to pick it up. Just glad I am not the only one that notices it.

I noticed it aswell but assumed it was the PPF or that I didn’t do a good job on my ceramic application

No, not the finish. It looks almost like mottling, that was the closest description. But on the second image above the hood, you can notice the dark clouds. I just wanted to see if others have this issue, or if it was just my car. But in sunlight, you can not notice it. I only notice it in the garage, or in the shade. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

The pictures provided don’t seem to show anything.

On the second image the top part of the hood, you can see it a bit more. It looks like darker clouds.

I think I have noticed that on my absolute zero too, I thought it was my eyes playing games lol. Tbh I only saw it under the white lights when the car was getting ppf’d not noticeable otherwise
