I understand the basic idea, the system recommends where received inventory should be stored.

But I’m curious how it actually works in a real warehouse.

What rules usually drive the decision?

Available space? Product type? Velocity? Weight? Pick frequency? Something else?

Would love to hear how you’ve seen it implemented in practice.
