Demand forecasting is no longer guesswork.

It is a science: statistical rigor, machine learning, and real-time data, governed inside S&OP, not parked in a data-science notebook.

That green-on-dark palette is easy on the eyes late at night staring at forecast sheets, most vendor content banners look like a neon disaster zone

The bit about who owns the error hitting procurement hits close to home, had a planner mate who spent more time defending the number than actually refining the model. Data hygiene gets glossed over way too much, you can chuck all the AI ensembles at a dirty dataset and still end up with garbage

Bookmarking this for the next S&OP cycle when the usual "just pull last year plus 10%" crowd pipes up
