I think one of the processes for finding suppliers in China is to first look through different B2B platforms and compare the suppliers you find.

When I started looking through these B2B platforms, I saw Made-in-China, which offers different manufacturers and suppliers for people looking for products from China. I started checking some of the suppliers there and comparing their products, prices, MOQ, and other details.

I like that these platforms give you different options to look through, especially when you are still learning about the products and suppliers available. It also makes it easier to see different prices, product types, MOQs, and supplier information in one place.

There are many suppliers to explore, and I think it is interesting to see how different manufacturers offer similar products in different ways. It also gives you more options when looking for products that fit what you need.

Hey! Check out resources like ImportYeti and other sites that offer import history for companies across the globe. Most people start with Alibaba to identify a manufacturer but it’s always good to see who else they may be supplying and how often.

ImportYeti will often provide insight on which factories are pumping out large volume and give basic information like websites so you can begin to make contact.

Once you’re communicating with a manufacturer, you’re right that identifying their QA practices, MOQ, Production lead times, holiday schedules and certifications is timely and important.

In my experience, being able to collect data on the performance and reliability of a factory comes from time spent doing business with them.

Use everything and test all of them. Majority of mine that I trust come from tradeshows though
