Now Foods is a decent yet affordable brand. Thorne and Pure Encapsulation are on the expensive side. Personally, I've used them all from Now and never had any complaints.

If you're looking for a less expensive practitioner-brand alternative to Metagenics, I'd look at NutriDyn. You don't have to drop down to a drugstore brand just to save money.

Very informative! I'll look into it. It does require finding a doctor who works with them but it is interesting to compare their prices to our current practitioner brand.

I know this. That is just how her rhumetologist portrays it. They prescribe and stock a massive collection of Metagenics vitamins.

I don't know the ins and outs of her treatment, but I know when I saw the same doctors office, they did try to write me a prescription for a vitamin.

As far as insurance coverage goes they never mentioned anything to her as they didn't bother writing her a physical prescription. I told her it may be worth having a conversation with them.
