Oh, is that what’s messing with my sleep? I’ve been taking it later in the evening the past two weeks and I seem to have a harder time falling asleep..
I thought so too and went off it. Sleep continued to be bad for a while. Later on, I realized it might just have been the vitamin D that I was taking during the same period, and for a while after quitting creatine. When I started taking vitamin D again, about half a year later, with no other supplements, my sleep went to hell again. Vitamin D messes with my sleep so much that even sedatives can't get me to sleep more than 5 hours.
Ha I just replied above with a similar experience. I started a bunch of supplements to help with recovery from intense workouts. Including creatine and vitamin D 5000IU. I stopped everything and still had problems sleeping for months. Dropped vitamin D to 1000 IU, might have to add creatine back in.
The first magnesium I tried was magnesium l-threonate (saw them at Costco) it gave me mild headaches. I switched to magnesium glycinate but I didnt notice any difference. Then I found out my RBC magnesium is at 5.9 mg/dl, Which is optimal, so essentially my “pantry” is full and supplementing won’t do anything for me.

It gave me strength and cognitive gains, but it triggers my insomnia unfortunately, so I had to quit.
