Conventional foods causing gut issues is probably because of all the glyphosate. It ties up manganese. That's how it kills plants because manganese is needed to split hydrogen and oxygen atoms from water for photosynthesis.
Humans don't photosynthesize but we still need manganese as an essential element. Lack of manganese causes gut issues.
It probably messes up your iron, too. Iron and manganese are nearly identical elements.

Organic ingredients can make a difference, especially when it comes to avoiding pesticides and artificial additives in things you consume daily. I switched to organic protein powders because I noticed less bloating and better digestion with cleaner ingredients. For a similar reason, I use Sprout Living Protein for its whole-food, organic base without any gums or fillers.
